Return of the Cypher (ROTC) is free live Hip-Hop show every Sunday at the Boom Boom Room that features an ever-changing lineup of artists and improvised sessions (know as “cyphers”) where beatboxers, emcees, and musicians collaborate in a spontaneous combustion of soulful skill.

Return of the Cypher will be hosted by Infinite with special guest Yuri Lane featuring DJ Kevvy Kev & The Gemstone Band.

This week Hip Hop ROTC gets back down to its roots with some very special beatboxing. Emcee Infinite of Felonious is hosting the cypher and he’s bringing a special guest collaborator; Beatbox/Harmonica sensation Yuri Lane is going to be joining the party at the Return of the Cypher at the Boom Boom Room in SF. Lane just recently shared his gift with the world on the Steve Harvey Show and now he’s stopping by the bay to bring it to you.
