Event Details

Join  for a family friendly night of live music, storytelling, art making and community. Come get down with the GRAMMY nominated Oakland based children’s music group Alphabet Rockers who make learning come alive with the beats, rhymes, dance moves, and community of hip hop.

Listen to local children’s book author Tiffany Golden take us on a journey with Midnight, Keeper of Dreams and Protector of Children in the mystical land of Shina, as she reads from her Midnight Stories Series.

Get inspired by Spotlight:Girls, a program where girls learn how to be bold and brave by making theater, art, music and media.

In The Space:

  • Delicious food available from Two Mamacitas Pop Up Kitchen
  • Fresh music jams spun by DJ XCAIROCITOSX
  • Interactive art and book making activities
  • Live illustration booth with Allah El Henson
  • Local children’s books for sale

Schedule:

  • 6-6:30pm – interactive arts activities, live illustration booth and food available from Two Mamacitas
  • 6:30-7:30pm – performances start promptly at 6:30pm
  • 7:30-8:30pm – DJ XCAIROCITOSX
