Guajirón
Live Cuban Music, Tropical Jazz, Caribbean Salsa
Guajirón is a nine-piece Cuban Dance Band from San Francisco’s Mission District, bringing the energy of the Caribbean to our foggy city, for either dancing, listening or just letting the good times roll.
Guajiron’s sound is designed for uplifting, grooving, and inspiring you to leave your worries behind. Their “feel good” and rhythmic original arrangements will make you come alive with top dance hits from the traditions of Cuban Son, Charanga, Guaracha, Boleros, and Tropical Jazz.
Whether you want to salsa dance, get funky, smooze your partner, or just nod your head or lean back with a drink, they will make it happen. And, for the Jazz fans, you’ll feel their signature take on Tropical Jazz – drawing from the rich Caribbean traditions of New Orleans and Havana, focusing on emotional impact in a unique way that can only be described as the Guajirón sound.
Every show is different—be it a dance-heavy celebration, a laid-back groove session, or an inspiring night of Cuban and tropical jazz, Guajirón brings it on. With open hearts, steady grooves, and dancing feet, see you soon!
