Beauty Retail & Fashion | ROAD: Retail Design Show | SF

The retail beauty industry has performed outstandingly under the tough economic conditions of the last few years. This has been linked to dynamic innovations in both retail experience and product strategy that move the consumer to buy.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Innovative retail concepts such as service-orientated nail salons and blowout bars have created stand-alone beauty destinations. This has furthered the gain of the beauty category in market share. ROAD talks to key industry insiders to see how they made beauty turn into what other categories wish they could turn into.

Featuring panelists:

  • Amanda Carr, a retail trend forecaster, journalist and brand consultant with 30 years experience in the fashion and retail industry
  • Victor Cembellin – Senior Artist North America at M.A.C. Cosmetics
  • Andrea Bell – Editor, Retail & Consumer Insight at WGSN
