Born and raised in the musically-rich San Francisco Bay Area, Lucas Sanchez is a local of the vibrant musical scene specific to Livermore. At an early age, he cut his teeth and wowed crowds across the wine country scene. His music is a carefully crafted cocktail of sounds that draws inspiration from rock, blues, funk, pop, jazz, and more. Lucas’s guitar work is energetic and distinct with underlying tones of Hendrix, Clapton, Satriani, and Stevie Ray Vaughan; while his songwriting is influenced by masters like Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Sting, and Dave Matthews. If Sanchez’s sound is a carefully crafted cocktail, tonight’s performance can be likened to a masterfully crafted negroni or boulevardier: one part originals, one part fan favorites, and one part holiday classics.
