An antidote to the staid world of classical music, The Saint Michael Trio earn glowing praise for making their trademark ‘informances’ interesting, accessible, and oftentimes funny.

This concert, part of the Humanities West series, examines the sonata from the formalism of 18th century Franz Joesph Hayden to the whimsy and 21st century energy of the contemporary Paul Schoenfield.
