Oakland’s Rockridge District will be rock’n with 20+ street performances, 50+ local artists, flea market, big sales and special offers, kids’ crafts, special menus and tastings, and a pup promenade.

Rock-N-Stroll is BARTable! Take the train to the Rockridge Station and you’re in the center of the action. There are no street closures, so street parking and AC Transit lines are uninterrupted. Bike racks are found throughout the district.

The Rockridge District welcomes you to stop by, say hello, and enjoy the local wares, fine dining, savory sweets, and delicious drinks you can only find in this magical district. This is not a typical street festival. It’s a 1-mile leisurely stroll loaded with amazing sites, sounds, and experiences on every block.

Bring Fido for a Pup Promenade with treats, water bowls, and photo contest. Kids can enjoy crafts and loads of hands-on creative activities for the kids to participate in. Enjoy special offers and activities from 40+ Rockridge retailers, restaurants, and service providers.

From Broadway to Alcatraz, College Avenue and its side streets will be full of family-friendly fun finds. Most of the music, art, and pop-up goods are from Rockridge-based talent. It’s a true showcase of one of Oakland’s best neighborhoods.

  • First Federal Savings & Loan, 6058 College Ave – Piggy bank painting! Bring your best art skills and show them off. Tasty treats, bank souvenirs, and information about their Youth Savings accounts. (12pm-3pm).

  • Vero for Hair, 6052 College Ave – 25% off sale on all items; live demo of hairstyles.

  • Sole Terra Shoes, 5933 College Ave – Discount promotion, free gift with purchase, refreshments, and a prize wheel.

  • Forge, 5900 College Ave – Hosting a local artist.

  • European Wax Center, 5820 College Ave – Discounts on services and products, raffle and info table outside.

  • Starter Bakery, 5804 College Ave – Try our Peach Jam Kouign Amann with jasmine-infused white chocolate ganache and a rockin’ happy hour special of $1 off summer strawberry drinks (11am-4pm).

  • Rockridge Market Hall, 5655 College Ave – Prize wheel and more (12pm-3pm).

  • Crossroads Trading, 5601 College Ave – Prize wheel and a gift card raffle to anyone who makes a purchase during the event.

  • Cole Hardware, 5533 College Ave – Special coupon: 50% off a single item $15 or less valid all day long.

  • Bella Vita, 5511 College Ave – Local artisan pop-ups.

  • Atomic Garden, 5453 College Ave – Pop-up by Happy Nuts Day with Peanut Butter from Chiba, Japan, that’s completely natural (no oils added) and a Matcha peanut butter.

  • McNally’s Irish Pub, 5352 College Ave – Pop-up by Donahue Rooftop Farms with local honey (from Oakland and Fremont) and beeswax candles as well as a live bee exhibit. Live music by The Don Edmonds Project (2pm-5 pm). Water station for dogs.

  • Bambino Thrift Shop, 5290 College Ave – Art and poster sale, Turn Back Time watch pop- up.

  • BodyFit Training, 5151 Broadway – Rockridge give-back training day with $20/person donated to local education and health charities and DJ, brunch, and fun festivities. Coaches choice workout – expect a mix of full body strength movements and cardio.

  • Blick Art Materials, 5301 Broadway – Arts an crafts activity table for folks to help themselves (11am-5pm).
