Discover one of Oakland’s most unique neighborhood celebrations during Rock-N-Stroll in the Rockridge District. Stroll a mile of College Avenue and its side streets while enjoying more than 20 live musical performances, an Art Bazaar featuring 50+ local artists, wine and food tastings, sidewalk pop-ups, exclusive merchant specials, children’s activities, pet-friendly fun, and one-day-only shopping promotions.
Rather than a traditional street festival, Rock-N-Stroll invites visitors to explore Rockridge’s independent shops, restaurants, cafés and galleries while visual art and live music fills every block. Featured performers include Frances Ancheta, The 770 Collective, Five Pines, Syd and I, Cocoa Keys, Rattle-Tone and many more. Free admission. Family- and pet-friendly.

FREE – All agesRock-N-Stroll is BARTable! Take the train to the Rockridge Station and you’re in the center of the action. There are no street closures, so street parking and AC Transit lines are uninterrupted. Bike racks are found throughout the district.
The following activites are listed in order from South to North. Events, music, local artists and pop-up times vary, but most are from 11am-4pm. Artist tables will be either inside or outside the locations where indicated below.

- Atomic Garden, 5453 College Ave – Ryan Betts Ng of Rambunctious Drawings Inc. will be doing portraits of you and your pets. Half of the proceeds will be donated to a local dog and cat rescue.
- The Monk’s Kettle, 5484 College Ave – $2 off your first drink (11:30am-4pm)
- Mercy Vintage, 5505 College Ave – Hosting Manar Harb, an Oakland-based Palestinian artist who works across various mediums; she will be showcasing prints of her abstract art paintings that encourage shifting perspectives. She will also have friends’ artworks at her table including: Lettering & Print by Artist Sarah Malik, That Hausa Vegan Chef Sital, and Leymoon Jewelry by Nour Fadel.
- SLATE Contemporary Gallery, 5510 College Ave – SLATE will be hosting a small works sale with 10% off framed and unframed works on paper. Artists on site, water bowls and treats for the dogs, as well as stickers for the kids. (11am-5pm)

Rock-N-Stroll Art Bazaar
Rock-N-Stroll celebrates Oakland’s thriving creative community with an Art Bazaar featuring more than 50 local artists of all ages exhibiting paintings, ceramics, jewelry, prints, textiles and handcrafted works inside and outside participating businesses. Visitors can meet the artists, purchase original artwork directly from the creators and discover new favorites while supporting local makers. Most of the artists either live or work in the neighborhood, making this a truly local showcase.
