Live ROLLER DERBY is back in the Bay on September 14, 2024 as the Oakland Outlaws battle the San Francisco Rolling Dead at Richmond Memorial Auditorium. Join Bay Area Derby at our Homecoming game and celebrate the league’s 20th anniversary! Some things attendees will enjoy include:
- A short exhibition featuring retired BAD skaters showing the audience how the game is played
- Special guest announcer “Broseph” Joe Brody, of Hoodslam
- An exciting halftime show
- A vendor village to include food, drinks, BAD merchandise, and work by local artists
Established in 2004, Bay Area Derby is a full contact, flat track roller derby league located in Oakland, CA, consisting of two home teams, a competitive travel team, a training program for both adult and junior skaters, as well as game officials and many dedicated volunteers. As covered by the San Francisco Chronicle, BAD is an empowering community for queer athletes.
On September 14, doors will open at 4:00pm, with the game starting at 6:00pm. Attendees can purchase tickets at bit.ly/bayareaderbytickets. Early bird pricing and VIP packages are available.
