Have you ever wondered what could have happened if Romeo and Juliet got a second chance?
Come find out! R & J & Z (Romeo & Juliet & ZOMBIES) will haunt the De La Salle stage from October 27 – October 29, and November 3 – 5, 2022.
Equally inspired by Shakespeare and modern zombie films, the famous lovers navigate a world in which death is not necessarily the end. It pushes the boundaries of theatrical humor and horror and begins with Act V of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and keeps going.
Set against the historical backdrop of Verona’s plague, Melody Bates’ new-verse play throws old and new characters together over the course of an apocalyptic and action-packed 24 hours.
