Event Details

A contemporary interpretation of the cross-cultural complexities born from the African diaspora, Roots, Routes and Riots demonstrates a wide range of artistic styles to convey hybridity, multivalence, and diversified ideology.

The multi-media exhibition is evidence of the dynamic integration between African “roots” of origin, the “routes” of diaspora, and the “riots” of social and personal conflict.

Featuring Bay Area artists:Black Diamonds Shining Collective; Ras Terms, Deadeyes, Safety First, Antjuan Oden. Carl Erskine Karni-Bain “BAI”, Revo Dubois, Tumani Onabiyi, Malik Seneferu, Mandeep Sethi, and Paloma.

Opening reception October 13th 5-8pm. Drinks and refreshments will be served.
Available for public viewing October 13-November 4
