Event Details

Come party with us at Manny’s Sunday, April 23! From 2:30pm to 3:30pm, we’ll be celebrating publication of author Richard May’s 4th short story collection, BECAUSE OF ROSES: Ten Stories on how men meet men and maybe start a relationship.
Richard and his friend Olga Zilberbourg, author of the story collection LIKE WATER, will read from a favorite story in each other’s book and one from their own. They’ll also discuss short stories as a literary form.
Just for fun, the first 12 people at the party will receive a long-stemmed red rose and everyone gets a free copy of BECAUSE OF ROSES. Food & drink available from the Manny’s bar. Masks recommended but optional.
Manny’s is in San Francisco at 3092 16th St. (at Valencia) in the Mission. That’s just up the street from the 16th Street BART station. The MUNI 22 bus stops right outside. See you there!
