Featuring Grand Lake, The Tellers, The Spyrals & DJ Bagel Ted – FREE (w/RSVP)
GRAND LAKE
This bay area art band are producing beautiful and haunting chamber indie pop ala Grizzly Bear and have the locals buzzing, including SF Weekly and The Owl Mag, to name a few. Led by former Port O’Brien member, Caleb Nichols, GRAND LAKE were named Best Emerging Artist of 2009 by The Deli SF and their 2010 debut, Blood Sea Dream is a downright dreamy mix of reverb and finely bound string arrangements.
“The vocal harmonies, the sonic reverb, and Caleb’s unique songwriting is intact. It’s going to be a good year for Grand Lake.” – Kata Rokkar
THE TELLERS
Belgium’s, THE TELLERS are joining us for the entire West Coast run as they promote the US release of Close The Evil Eye. Equal parts Violet Femmes and Strokes, catchy indie rock with undeniable pop sensibilities. Add in the boyish charm of The Kooks and a dash of the ruggedness of The Libertines and you have The Tellers. Catch them before they head to Austin to dominate SXSW!
“A bright acoustic-folk influence matched with ‘80s U.K. pop essence.” – Jack Rabid/The Big Takeover

THE SPYRALS
Described as a combo of The Stooges and My Bloody Valentine, locals, THE SPYRALS produce our favorite kind of dirty shoegaze, so much so that their track “Love Me Too” landed ended up as an FS Song of the Day back in January. Fuzzy psych rock that have the locals flocking, don’t miss The Spyrals.
“It’s a fiery ride through its turbulent melodies.” – SF Gate
