Safety & Hygiene Kit Assembly Drive (Kids Edition) Benecia

Vibes&Smiles™ and Pop!Culture by Whipt will be co-hosting the first ever safety + hygiene kit donation drive & assembling event KIDS EDITION where kids will be will be volunteering to make kits from collected donated items, that will be distributed to the unhoused and AAPI community in the near future. To date and with the organization’s goal of 10,000 safety kits, Vibes&Smiles™ has already made and handed out over 6,800 safety kits. The event aims to collect donations and make an additional 1,000 safety kits. In addition to promoting youth, hip-hop & literacy and community service, there will nearly two dozen food and merchant vendors plus live musical performances.

Media coverage from Dion Lim, KRON4 News, 99.7 FM NOW and KCBS 740 AM / 106.9 FM has insurmountably assisted Vibes&Smiles™ in receiving recognition and support from the Mayors and Councilmembers of Pacifica, San Jose, Daly City, South San Francisco and Menlo Park.

The safety kits contain whistles, bungee coil key rings, small flashlights, self defense personal sirens, and pepper gel spray. The hygiene kits contain (travel sized / individually wrapped) toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, body soap, lotion, hand sanitizer, comb, brush, feminine products.
