2019 Sakura Classic Kendama Championship & Free Workshops | Japantown
The Kendama is a traditional Japanese skill game, similar to the American Ball n Cup game, but with way more options and freestyle capabilities. The Sakura Classic is the official Kendama event of the Nor Cal Cherry Blossom Festival and it’s completely free to watch.

FREEKendama is a classic Japanese game that is similar to the classic Ball and Cup with thousands of tricks featuring free workshops, Professional kendama players, mini games, demonstrations, and a contest that puts players skills to the test.
This years event features professional kendama players from all over the country including world champions. There are tons of games and workshops to take part in and win prizes along with a full kendama pro shop with special edition cherry blossom kendamas. The event is free and open to all skill levels.
