Kick-off the joy of San Francisco Carnaval and the Oakland Carnival Family Day this Carnaval season on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Mission Dolores Park.

This will be their bi-annual San Francisco Carnaval contingent registration drive and enjoy potluck treats (please bring something), storytelling, live music and dance performances by the FunkTyme Playaz, the Kings and Queens of SambaFunk, the FunkQuarians and special guests.

The performances are free to watch and everyone is welcome to join in. If you’re interested in joining the Carnaval contingent, there is a $50 fee and dance classes you can join in San Francisco and in Oakland. Come dance with them in Dolores Park and find out all about it.
