On Saturday, October 20th, a group of talented artists will paint nude models at The Potrero Power Station, followed by a nude march. The 3rd annual Body Painting Day is taking place at Decompression.
This year, model fees have been reduced and artist fees have been eliminated. Photographers and video shooters are free. All of the artists, models, photographers and videographers receive free admission to Decompression. Water and snacks will also be provided.
2018 San Francisco Bodypainting Day
Saturday, October 20, 2018 | 2 pm
Potrero Power Station, 23rd St at Illinois Street, SF
FREE for artists, photographers and videographers; $25 for Decompression admission
- Models, there is a $25 fee plus you need to purchase your own ticket to Decompression.
- Artists, there is no fee, but you need to purchase your own ticket to Decompression. All paint and painting supplies will be provided except brushes.
- All paintings are full nude (no costumes, headdresses, etc.)
- After 4 hours of live painting, they will all march around the grounds and then Bodypainting Day is finished, but the Decompression party continues until 2 am, so feel free to stay and enjoy the party. Artists are invited to stay in the area and continue to paint attendees.
The theme for 2018 Bodypainting Day is “Movement.”
