Following its sold-out premiere at the Balboa Theater, meet the cast and crew at a special free screening of the film San Francisco Cowboy along with post-film Q&A with the director, Doc Zee.
The award-winning film ‘San Francisco Cowboy’ follows the adventures of Josh (Jimmy Darling), a 21-year-old cowboy from Nevada who comes to San Francisco in search of his long estranged mother. Filmmaker Doctor Zee says the film is “a love story to the people of the city of San Francisco,” that welcomed him with open arms.

About The Filmmaker
Medical doctor/ filmmaker, Zee graduated from medical school at the age of 26 in Pakistan. He came to the USA, 22 years ago and started to pursue his passion of filmmaking. Gender Empowerment is Zee’s inspiration for his films. He has won many awards in film festivals for his work.
Doctor Zee dedicates his latest film, “San Francisco Cowboy”, a love story to the people of the city of San Francisco, that has welcomed him with open arms. Zee’s characters explore child labor, belief and religion, reproductive rights, and cultural customs vs. modernity, LGBTQ issues with a mix of comedy, romance and drama.
