ATTN: San Francisco freelancers, independent contractors, and artists! The City of San Francisco is committed to helping you grow your business.
The San Francisco Freelancer Program is a collaboration between the City and County of San Francisco’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development, Uptima Entrepreneur Cooperative, and L.C. & Lillie Cox Haven of Hope to support self-employed individuals to maximize their economic potential and strengthen their connection to others in the business community.
Eligible San Francisco entrepreneurs will receive free enrollment to Uptima Entrepreneur Cooperative’s Freelancer Course. This course guides individuals through a hands-on process of defining their service offering, developing client relationships, and establishing the foundation to thrive as a self-employed person. Next course runs from late March-mid May.
Schedule of Classes:
Tuesdays, 1-4pm – Mar 30, Apr 13, Apr 20, Apr 27, May 4 & May 11
or
Thursdays, 1-4pm – Apr 1, Apr 15, Apr 22, Apr 29, May 6 & May 13
