San Francisco Jazz Quintet with Darlene Langston (Burlingame)

Come listen to the smooth sounds of mellow jazz and the sweet sultry voice of Darlene Langston whose repertoire reflects her love of the Great American Songbook as well as her continued interest in the blues and Tin Pan Alley traditions. Greg Gotelli: drums, Jeff Saxton: bass, Sam Cady: piano, Galen Green: sax Darlene Langston: vocals with occasional guest appearances from some of the Bay Area’s jazz masters like Noel Jewkes and Charlie McCarthy, a saxophonist who has played and recorded with many of the greats in jazz including Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Henderson, and Sarah Vaughan.
