Come out to Holy Names University in the beautiful Oakland Hills for a free preview of the San Francisco Opera’s fall production of La Bohème – Puccini’s tale of intense passion and youthful idealism.

Special guests from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music will perform and comment on musical excerpts from La Bohème. Moreover, an accomplished scholar will enlighten the audience about the historical context and dramatic twists-and-turns in the making of this great classic. The 75-minute lecture and music program will be followed by a reception at which you can meet the performers and speakers.
