Come take a moonlight meander through the zoo as it sparkles with cheer. Shop at the Holiday Marketplace, sip hot cocoa and hang with Santa Claus and his special reindeer, Belle, Holly, Peppermint and Velvet; they’ll be on the Playfield Lawn near the snow. Yes, it will be snowing at Zoo Lights, so bundle up.
On Saturday nights in December, they’ll feature Noc’tails Silent Disco ($5 extra, but Funcheap contest winners will get these free). Ride the historic Dentzel Carousel, enjoy live entertainment, and win prizes at the Holiday Midway Games.
Zoo Lights is open to the general public in 2013 nightly: December 20-30 (dark on Dec. 24 and 25) from 4:30-8 pm.
