Looking for the best Independence Day Events in SF? The San Francisco Fourth of July Pub Crawl is one of the best parties in the city. Enjoy discounted drinks at some great bars in the Marina before the Fireworks!

The San Francisco July 4 Pub Crawl is the best way to celebrate the holiday! Join us for a huge “Independence Day” Bar Crawl leading right up to the celebratory fireworks.. Enjoy some great holiday drink specials and feel free to wear your favorite red, white, or blue outfit!

It’s time to pull out those American Flag jackets, funny t-shirts and crazy costumes. The Fourth of July Pub Crawl will take place on Saturday, July 4. You won’t need to travel out of the city to enjoy the craziest Independence Day celebration on the West Coast with a bunch of great San Francisco Bars offering amazing drink specials, DJs, food and more leading up to the big San Francisco Fireworks show. Even better, the San Francisco Hot Dog Eating Contest and Pie Eating Contest will take place during the event, so you will get your chance to cheer on the best competitive eaters in the city as they grub through plates of hot dogs or dive into freshly baked pies, hoping to be crowned the champion for 2026.

Event Check-in:

The fun all starts at Rick & Roxy’s, where you can check in for the event and pick up your pub crawl wristbands and Fourth of July Maps. The wristbands are your all-access pass to the event, which will give you access to some incredible discounted drink specials and also get you free entry to all of the bars and the hot dog eating contest location. The best way to pre-party before the fireworks shows in San Francisco.

The San Francisco Hot Dog Eating Contest (July 4):

The CrawlSF Fourth of July Pub Crawl & Hot Dog Eating Contest is the best way to celebrate independence Day in the San Francisco Bay Area. Plus, July 4 is on a Saturday this year so you can get as crazy as you want (while drinking responsibly, of course). Feel free to dress up if you please as everything is more fun in a costume.

For those who prefer sweet to savory, the Pie Eating Contest offers a different challenge. The rules are simple: no utensils & no hands. First one to finish the pie wins.

The event wraps up just as the San Francisco fireworks show begins to light up the sky. Cap off the evening with a spectacular display over the Bay Area.
