Event Details

Award-winning author Sandro Veronesi will present his international bestseller Quiet Chaos at the Italian Cultural Institute on Monday, May 2 at 6:30 pm. Quiet Chaos has been translated into English by Michael F. Moore (and published by Ecco, an imprint of HarperCollins). During his presentation at the Italian Cultural Institute, Veronesi will be joined by authors Jim Nisbet and Barry Gifford in a discussion on the complexities of the creative process.

The winner of Italy’s top literary prize, the Strega Prize, in 2005, and adapted into an internationally acclaimed film, Sandro Veronesi’s Quiet Chaos is about stepping out of life after it cruelly turns everything upside-down, and finding a resolution to the unsolvable problem of loss.

Copies of the book are available locally in English at Book Passage San Francisco and City Lights Bookstore.
