The best thing about the South Bay Santa Con is that they can ride “Santa’s Sleigh” (Caltrain) up and down the peninsula while singing bawdy carols, imbibing in Xmas cheer, and laughing all the way. The festivities start at noon on Saturday, December 19, 2015.
In the spirit of the second Burning Man principle, gifting, they will be collecting Toys For Tots at the starting point of the route, so keep your eye open for any Misfit Toys that may be just perfect for a girl or boy who otherwise wouldn’t have anything.
The route will be kept secret until a few days before, but start getting together your Santa costume and dig out Santa’s Songbook. Santa is double-checking the weather forecast. Rain on Saturday is making him look at new options. Stay tuned to their Facebook page for updates.
Want to help Santa?
As always, Santa needs elves to keep on schedule and make sure no stray Santas have fallen down in a gutter somewhere. If you would like to be one of Santa’s helpers, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the Subject, “I’m an Elf!”
