“Dogs by the Bay” Waterfront Festival & Costume Parade
Celebrate Sausalito’s creative spirit at this canine-centric installment of Art & Harbor Days! Whether you’re a local or just crossing the bay for a ‘paws-itive’ Saturday, join us for a joyful waterfront celebration! Explore a vibrant marketplace featuring local artists, entrepreneurs, and dog-centric vendors alongside animal-welfare organizations for a full day of four-legged fun and coastal browsing.
The Highlights:
  • FREE Admission: Open to all humans and well-behaved pups.
  • 10:30 AM | Waterfront Dog Parade: A lively procession from Trident to Gabrielson Park. 
  • 11:30 AM | Dog Costume Contest: Sausalito’s most creative pups take center stage.
  • Live Music: Catch full bands in Gabrielson Park at 1 PM and 4 PM. 
  • Special Guests: Meet adoptable dogs from Love’s Legacy Rescue and watch a Guide Dogs for the Blind training demo.
  • Art & Activities: Kids Dog Art Day at P.A.I.N.T. Art Collective and pet portraits by Lynda Niemeier-Teasdale (Noon–4 PM).
  • Dog-Friendly Specials: Keep an eye out for participating downtown restaurants offering themed treats and photo ops.
