Event Details

Join Mills College as they examine artwork that captures the energy and beauty of Mills College throughout its history, from images of campus landscapes and historic buildings, to student life and faculty on August 26, 2012. See Mills through the artistic lens of Eadweard Muybridge, Imogen Cunningham, Roi Partridge, and others.

Space is limited. Please RSVP to museum@mills.edu.

The Mills College Art Museum, housing the largest permanent collection of any liberal arts college on the West Coast, is digitizing their collection of works on paper, which includes notable examples of 19th and 20th century photography, Japanese prints, Renaissance masters, and works by early 20th century avant-garde artists.

Throughout the summer they’re offering Behind the Scenes tours of collection highlights. Join them on the last Sunday of each month for guided looks at selections from our unique holdings.
