Ever wondered what a day in the life of an ice cream scientist is like? Join Black Girls CODE and food scientist Dr. Maya Warren for a #BGCIceCreamParty! Dr. Maya will lead a sweet scientific lesson on how to make your very own ice cream at home. She will discuss her career as a real-life ice cream scientist and how you can step into the food science industry. This will be a fun activity for the whole family, so raid the pantry for your favorite toppings and join us for this creative, interactive, and edible science project. All ages welcome!

Hosted by the Bay Area Science Festival.
