Event Details

In an earlier age, sailors sang work songs to haul lines, raise sails and anchors, and man the pumps. This lively sing-along, fun for the whole family, is presented in collaboration with the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park by Peter Kasin and Richard Adrianowicz on August 22, 2012.

Experience images and sounds of the Golden Gate Strait long before the iconic Golden Gate Bridge was imagined in Before the Bridge: Sight and Sound at the Golden Gate. Complementing the exhibit are several events to further explore the history of the Golden Gate. Join them at this event or one of additional programs. No RSVP necessary.
