“In Search of Great Men” Art Opening | SF City Hall

See America through a new vantage-point in McNair Evans’ exhibition, “In Search of Great Men at City Hall.”

For the past four years, Evans has embarked on biannual two-week long train trips, crisscrossing the country on Amtrak’s passenger routes. The exhibition combines stunning landscapes, portraits of Evans’ fellow passengers, and documentation of first-person, passenger-written journals, collectively illustrating a moving portrait of contemporary America.
