Secret Location (Near Alameda Breakwater) | 37°46′07″ N, 122°19′10″ W

Just can’t wait until NYE to see some lights in the sky? Google may have a special surprise for you.

Funcheap got word of a super secret waterfront fireworks show that might be taking place near the Alameda breakwater in the San Francisco Bay on Saturday, December 14, 2013.

The launch location looks to be just west of the USS Hornet Museum off the coast of Alameda which seems right because Google is having their private invite-only 2013 Holiday Party aboard the Hornet.

From what we can tell, there are two fireworks shows — one short one around 9:15 pm and another longer one around 11:15 pm. Other than that, we don’t know much.

Please Note: We don’t know exactly if, when, where or how the fireworks will happen (or if you’ll even be able to get close enough to view), but we are guessing that with all the hype and secrecy around Google’s mysterious barge, that’s where you might want to look.

So if you have a friend who works at Google, make sure to buy them a drink and pump them for info.
