Event Details

Join Senator Barbara Boxer and Earth Island Institute’s International Marine Mammal Project team for a free event in downtown Berkeley, to also honor Senator Barbara Boxer’s environmental legacy.

With Senator Boxer retiring after 34 years in Congress, their team will publicly thank her for working with them to champion Dolphin Safe Tuna legislation, which saves approximately 100,000 dolphins per year, as well as her leadership establishing and safeguarding numerous other environmental protections.

  • 6:30 pm Sign-in opens
  • 7 pm Talk by Senator Boxer and discussion
  • 8:15 pm Book signing, and reception with light food and wine
  • 9:15 pm Event closes

Please note: Expect a full house, so reserve your tickets soon, but please do not reserve more tickets than you need. All reserved seats not claimed prior to 6:55 pm may be re-assigned to those on waiting list.

This is a free event. Although they encourage you to donate $30 or more to International Marine Mammal Project at the event to receive a copy of Senator Boxer’s new hardback book, The Art of Tough, which Senator Boxer with sign for you personally.
