Britex welcomes Patricia Field and David Dalrymple to San Francisco with a meet and greet reception from 11 am to 1:00 pm.

Learn how the phenomenon of Sex and the City’s fashion got started and what it was like dressing Meryl Streep. Also meet designers Richard Hallmarq and Emily Payne who will be talking about their own experiences as rising designers.

Featuring Designers:

Patricia Field, fashion legend, designer, stylist, costumer and retailer is best known for her work as costumer on HBO’s Sex and the City. She won several Emmy Awards for her work on the series and was nominated for an Academy Award for costume design for the movie Devil Wears Prada. Patricia will be appearing at Benicia Fashion Runway Weekend, October 3-5.

David Dalrymple, is head designer for the “House of Field” and has worked with Patricia for over 20 years. His clientele reads like the who’s who of the entertainment industry and most talked about women internationally. David continues to design custom pieces for Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Pink, Jennifer Lopez, Lil’ Kim, Bette Midler, and many other stars and celebrities.

Emily Payne is a San Francisco based fashion designer and Britex Fabrics team member currently showcasing her skills on the Lifetime network series Project Runway Season 13.

Richard Hallmarq has achieved acclaim for his designs from his first runway show in 2004, to presenting well-received collections at San Francisco Fashion Week, to being a cast member on the hit TV series Project Runway Season 11.
