Event Details

In solidarity with National Arts Advocacy Day, they’re headed to San Francisco City Hall. Send a message to President Trump that communities across the nation will not let him “defund” & dismantle the arts programs.

Trump released a proposed budget on March 16th calling to get rid of the National Endowment for the Arts, Public Broadcasting, and other federal arts programs that support the artists & communities, so they are all coming out to say “No!”

Then join a contingency of arts supporters as they share with SF Supervisors and staff their

  • policy priorities
  • a message of “No Cuts,”
  • personal and collective stories about the transformative nature of cultural and creative expression to make San Francisco a better place to live for everyone.

The event will include an arts performances & speakers on the steps of City Hall with artists/culture bearers from the community.
