SF Avatar Fighters at Detour SF

The Detour SF is excited to host MONTHLY Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game tournaments every 4th Tuesday at 7pm.

Tournament Details:

• Double Elimination bracket
• Each round is Best of 3 Except for Losers, Winners, and Grand Finals which will be Best of 5
• Tournament format may change based on turnout and time constraints.
• $5 Early Bird Entry
• $10 Late Registration
• Entry fee waived if you bring needed hardware (first come-first serve, see details below)
• 85% Prize pool to winners, remaining fees go to organizing costs.
• 60%-30%-10% of prize pool goes to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively.

Venue Rules:

• No outside food or beverages.
• 21+ (Except Saturdays before 6pm)
• Kitchen closes at 10pm.

Hardware at The Detour:

• We will have 1 steam set up (Laptop) as well as other Steam or PS5 set ups if attendees can bring additional hardware.
• We have multiple Nintendo Switch setups at the venue; however, until performance is reliable, we will avoid these setups unless absolutely necessary.
• We have a limited supply of Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers, one (1) PS5 controller, one (1) XBox One controller, two 8-button MadCatz Fight sticks with Brooks Wireless boards that are compatible with PC, PS5, and Swtich,
• Highly encouraged to BYOC. If your controller is not compatible with any setups, we will do our best to keep your matches on compatible hardware.
• Top 4 will be played on a single set up (PC).

Your fee can be waived if you can bring the following:

• Console/Laptop setup for gameplay
• Low-lag monitor/display
• Low-lag HDMI Splitter
• Streaming laptop

In order for your fee to be waived, you will need to arrive to the event at least 40 min early (6:20pm), the hardware must function, and you will need pre-approval from organizers. Please email mr.bjlee@gmail.com with any questions and approval.
