Show 6:30 – 10 pm.  San Francisco Bay Area Rising Guitar Stars: Points North, Gretchen Menn Trio, Daniele Gottardo  Don’t miss the return of the master musicians from 2023’s sell-out Jeff Beck Tribute night!  This performance includes an amazing opportunity for musicians who want to raise their guitar game, or even music lovers who want a behind the scenes look. Scroll down to learn more about the master-class Guitar Clinic happening before the show.    Featuring three of the Bay Area’s rising guitar artists, performing their own music as well as that of legendary guitarists:   •  Gretchen Menn, known for her work in Zepparella as well as original albums which blend modern and classical instruments, has been seen on the cover of Guitar World in 2022, was the winner of Martin No Limits guitar challenge, and is a regular on top new artists lists, including ones from Vintage Guitar Magazine, Guitar Girl Magazine, and Guitar Player Magazine.
•  Solo artist and composer Daniele Gottardo, named in 2017 as Steve Vai’s favorite new guitar player, winner of the international Guitar Idol competition, and featured in British Guitarist Magazine’s article “10 Contemporary Guitar Virtuosos You Need To Hear”.
•  Eric Barnett, guitarist in Points North, with two albums on esteemed progressive rock label Magna Carta Records, as well as a finalist in Guitar Player Magazine’s national Guitar Superstar Competition.  Points North also features bassist Uriah Duffy, formerly of Whitesnake and recent San Jose Jazz Fund grantee, and drummer Kevin Aiello. Eric also performs with touring tribute act Journey Unauthorized, and David Victor’s (formerly of Boston) San Francisco Supergroup.   These incredible guitarists will also be leading a “guitar clinic” before the event, starting at 5:30 pm. Come learn from the best and elevate your playing. This clinic can also be enjoyed by fans and aficionados who like a “behind the scenes” look at guitar mastery.
