Event Details

SF Beer Week is back February 11-20 to celebrate independent craft beers and those who brew them. Events, activities and at-home offerings await from dozens of bars, restaurants and breweries, including members of the Bay Area Brewers Guild, producer of this much-loved tradition.

New in 2022, too, are five opening night festivities that spotlight the five regions of the brewers guild in place of the single centralized gala of years past. Each Kick Off offers a more intimate experience and a nod to the distinct craft beer scene in its corner of the greater Bay Area.

Other than that, there are 250+ events (and growing) throughout the 10 days of SF Beer Week with lots of fun and games, cornhole tournaments, trivia nights, comedy shows,  free concerts”Bring your Own Stein” $6 beer nights, beach cleanups (with free beer for volunteers, of course!), treasure hunts and more. See the full schedule of events for 2022.or check out our top picks for free/cheap events below.

If you had ever joined us for weekly trivia, pre-pandemic, you already know: you’re in for a special treat. Whether you’re single & ready to mingle or all boo’d up, we have a fantastic, thematic night of trivia planned for you.

Black Hammer in SoMa’s weekly Trivia Night gets a makeover! In this Beers & Queers themed trivia night, there will be a focus on the LGBTQ+ community and beer brewing, and as always, it will be hosted by our very own Grace Gates. We use a live scoreboard, so it’s a bit more of a ruckus than typical bar trivia. Good natured trash-talk is encouraged, as is applauding fastest answers and best team names.

We recommend getting your hands on Prime 5 and Loose Leaf (launching 2/11) before the event so you can taste along with us.
