You can meet famous comics creators, get an in-depth look at San Francisco’s notorious comix underground scene, and even make some comics.

Bay Area’s Paint Pens Collective and Never Ending Radical Dude partnered with the official “San Francisco Comics Fest” to bring you a fun-filled comic-themed Quick Draw SF featuring a gaggle of local comic book artists and creators.

May Featured Artists include: Andy Sciazko, Katie Longua, Vincent Kukua, Cheez Hayama, Crystal Gonzalez, Matt Harding, Geoff Vasile, Steven Yu, Ha Huy Hoang, and more.

Happy hour specials in full effect and they will be raffling off swag and giveaways. Music by CDCM: Surrounded by floating melodies and ambient hobgoblins, you gradually melt into the chilled-out rhythm of this new world whilst succumbing to the unavoidable bursts of electronic mayhem.”

New to Quick Draw? Basically they are a monthly live drink and draw event co-curated by Shayna Yasuhara of “Paint Pen’s Collective” and Jason Furie of “Never Ending Radical Dude” tasked with keeping this city creative, fun, and weird. Each month, ten artists are selected to come draw and sell their creations on the “art wall” available on the cheap. There’s also a “merch table” where artists sell swag such as prints, books, and original art. Credit cards accepted. Everyone is welcome to come and draw, so bring your sketchbooks.
