The San Francisco Frozen Film Festival returns for its 19th year! This year, the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival (SFFFF) proudly returns with its 19th annual celebration of independent cinema, continuing its mission to bring bold, diverse, and boundary-pushing films to the Bay Area.
With over 100 films representing both international and local Bay Area voices of students and professionals, SFFFF 2025 offers another exciting showcase of the world’s freshest cinematic voices.
From heart-pounding to heartwarming, boundary breaking dramas and documentaries, to new-wave experimental films, tender LGBTQ+ stories, laugh-out-loud comedies, and eclectic animation, SFFFF 2025’s expansive program ensures every attendee finds a film that resonates.
Join us July 16-20th at The Crossing Outdoor Cinema (250 Main Street) to watch the films in-person and experience the festival that Moviemaker Magazine counts among the “Top 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World,” and the San Francisco Chronicle lists as the “best festival deal in town.”
In addition to in-person screenings at The Crossing, SFFFF 2025 will feature an online program on Vimeo showcasing over 50 films to audiences worldwide.
With the $25 festival pass, attendees are granted access to every film and events like Q & As, as well as the Opening Night Party, which will take place Wednesday July 16th from 6-7:15pm. Please join us for a night of mingling with local filmmakers and celebrating this year’s festival!
