Does your bowser like Madison Bumgarner? Is your Rottweiler a Sergio Romo fan? Does your Bichon go wild for Bochy?

SoMa StrEat Food Park and Woofspot invite you and your doggie to the San Francisco Giants season opening night game viewing party. Bring your pooch and watch the World Champs take on the LA Dodgers (booo…).

Enjoy doggie pictures in the free photo booth. You can make your pooch an All-Star by entering them in the Giants Dog Costume Contest, where the best dressed canines in orange and black can win great prizes. Grab some free dog treats from great companies. StrEAT’s Brew Bar’s will have happy hour drink specials from 4-7 pm.

Schedule

• 5:30 pm – Registration begins for the Orange & Black Canine Costume Contest. Entry is free. Enjoy dog photo opportunities and free dog treats from vendors.
• 6:15 pm – Round 1 – Dog line-up for Canine Costume Contest – Judging begins
• 6:30 pm – Round 2 – Top 15 dogs picked from line-up to be judged and walk the runway
• 7:00 pm – Costume contest winners announced
• 7:15 pm – SF Giants game begins on the big screen

Costume Contest
To enter the Giants Orange and Black Dog Costume Contest, sign up from 5:30 pm – 6:15 pm at the Woofspot table. Dogs should be dressed in appropriate Giants attire or orange and black; guest judges will decide the top 3 winners.

The costume contest will be emceed by Charly Kayle, co-host of the #1 rated morning radio show “Andrew & Charly” on KOIT 96.5 FM.

• Go JoJo’s MoJo (Korean fusion)

Pup Adoptions
They’ll be raising funds for Copper’s Dream Rescue, a wonderful Bay Area group that finds forever homes for dogs. They will have some adoptable canines and you can enter their raffle to win an autographed Giants item.
