Celebrating opening night of the 2015 San Francisco Independent Film Festival, the movie screens hide away for the event and the live music comes out with two special performances by unusual Bay Area choirs.
Well dressed in suits, ties, and the occasional fedora, San Francisco’s Conspiracy of Beards is a 30 member male choir that performs dynamic, original, a cappella arrangements of the poetic songs of Leonard Cohen.
Jerk Church is a creative musical learning community for musicians and non-musicians alike gathering each Sunday to break bread, share a cup and a song.
