SF Refresh 2011: Community Garden Festival

SF Refresh’s goal is to create six daylong citywide events that enable San Franciscans to receive free whole body care in community garden settings in 2011.

Activities include: gardening classes, yoga, life coaching, meditation, trauma care, nutrition classes, massage, acupuncture, movement classes, preventative health care information and even bicycle-powered smoothies.

Hayes Valley Farm:
(10-2pm Laguna/Fell)
Free whole body care activities and gardening

10 am-2 pm: Pet massage
12 pm: SOS (Singers of the Street) performance

The Bayview Roots Garden:
(12-4pm 3rd/Palou)
Free whole body care activities and gardening

Bayview Mission:
(11-1pm at 1547 Jerrold Avenue)
Neighborhood walk and trash pick up

The Growing Home Community Garden:
(12-4pm at Octavia/Lily)
Garden Skill Shares

1 pm: Yoga instruction

This is the last SF Refresh day of the year.
