SF Son Jarocho Festival: Fandango de La Candelaria | Brava Theater

Explore the folkloric music style of Veracruz, Mexico during a week-long festival of live music, community fandango, workshops with master artists, and a book release party when Brava presents the 8th Annual San Francisco Son Jarocho Festival.
All Festival events take place at Brava Theater Center, with the exception of the Thursday, February 6 workshop which will happen at La Peña Cultural Center in Berkeley.

- 6 pm to 11 pm: Friday, Feb 7 Fandango De La Candelaria (Brava’s Cabaret, 2773 24th Street, San Francisco)
Join for the cultural convening ritual known as Fandango de La Candelaria, a late-night session of instruments, dancing, voices and verse. Bring your instruments and your dancing shoes
