Event Details

To celebrate the SFJAZZ 5th Anniversary Season, SFJAZZ kicks off 2017 by honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and welcoming families to explore SFJAZZ Center space, listen to exciting live music in the beautiful Miner Auditorium, and find out more about America’s art form, jazz.

Join the SFJAZZ High School All-Stars Big Band, and the Jazz Mafia Brass Band led by multi instrumentalist Adam Theis for a musical day of fun, children’s activities, a digital music sandbox, instrument petting zoo, and exploration of the amazing SFJAZZ Center.

You may select one of three (3) tours: 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm, and reserve your free tickets for the whole family.

Each tour includes a concert in Miner Auditorium, entertainment and children’s activities throughout the building, including a giant birthday card for everyone to sign dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Find out why people of all ages are raving about San Francisco’s newest performance venue, and join the SFJAZZ Center for live music and celebration.
