Join celebrated women jazz faculty in this very special workshop for female jazz musicians ages 13-18 on March 14, 2020.
Ensemble techniques, improvisation, and musicianship will be the focus of this program for emerging female jazz talents.
Faculty include:
- Jessica Jones (sax)
- Sarah Cline (trombone)
- Kate Williams (trumpet)
- Ila Cantor (guitar)
- Maya Kronfeld (piano)
- Ruth Davies (bass)
- Ruthie Price (drums)
- SFJAZZ Director of Education Rebeca Mauleón
This workshop combines useful techniques in jazz ensemble performance with an encouraging and supportive environment, followed by an informative Q&A session.
Free but an RSVP is required. Ideal for girls ages 13-18.
