Join the Sisters and SF Krampus as they pay homage to the sinister and scary side of Christmas!
‘Tis the season to celebrate! One cold night very soon, in the wee hours of the morning, children will be visited by magical beings… but not Santa this time… It’s Krampus time!
Join San Francisco Krampusand the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence as they pay homage to the sinister and scary side of Christmas at their 3rd Annual KrampusPageant. On December 4th, 3pm – 7pm, come to the El Rio to watch a pageant where the naughty creatures of San Francisco will join a panel of steely judges and compete for a chance to be crown the Krampusof 2021.
The 3rd Annual Krampus Pageant winner will receive a special effects makeup gift package from Kryolan Cosmetics and an array of prizes to help numb them through the holidays… if you know what we mean! The pageant will also feature some very special (and spooky) drag performances and live music!
The competition will be on the outdoor patio, and proof of vaccination is required to enter the venue. Masks are also required.
Proceeds benefit True Colors United, an organization co-founded by Cyndi Lauper to end homelessness among LGBT youth: https://truecolorsunited.org/about/
A $10 to $20 donation is recommended at the door (no one turned away for lack of funds).
