The 84th Community Day of Service (CDoS)

San Francisco, CA — Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is excited to announce its 84th Community Day of Service, a landmark event set to take place at the iconic Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Wednesday,
March 26, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM. This groundbreaking initiative will unite a wide range of essential services, providing vital support to those experiencing or at risk of homelessness in San Francisco.

A One-Stop Shop for Comprehensive Support:

Health Services:

  • Medical Clinic: Urgent care, vaccinations, medication management, and more.
  • Vision Optical Services: Free reading glasses (with a valid prescription), free frames, and prescription lenses.
  • Dental: Cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
  • Harm Reduction: Addiction and mental health support.
  • STD/STI TestingHousing Services:
  • Housing & Shelters: Access to homeless supportive housing and coordinated entry.
  • Youth Housing ResourcesSan Francisco City and County Benefits:
  • Enrollment and Verifications: Assistance with CalFresh, CalWORKs, Medi-Cal, CAPP.
  • Social Security Administration: Issuing social security cards and IDs.General Services:
  • Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) Reissue or renewal of California ID.
  • Showers & Laundry Mobile Trailer
  • Wheelchair Repair: Manual only, replacement parts.
  • SF Public Library: Books Videos library Cards
  • Pet Services: Exams (limited), supplies, food.
  • Family Services: Senior services, youth services, community engagement.
  • Employment Services: Job assistance, counseling, education support.
  • Veteran Services: Medical benefits, work placement.
  • Women Services: Healthy relationship counseling and domestic abuse support.
  • Addiction Support: Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, support group information.
  • Legal Services: Family law, landlord-tenant issues, immigration services.This event is made possible in collaboration with the Department of Public Health (DPH) and the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH). Additionally, housing coordination supports assistance with permanent housing and shelter access.
