Event Details

Ruth’s Table is pleased to present Subject Matters: The Art of Disability Culture. The exhibition is a continuation of The Art of Disability Culture exhibition hosted at RT last year and aims to keep the conversation going by bringing together voices and perspectives across generations. 

This exhibition is an invitation to engage with the work of ten artists who identify as having a disability and expand our understanding of the disability community. At the heart of this exhibition is a celebration of the diverse, personal, and infinitely varied “disability experience”, whether visible or invisible.

Opening Celebration onsite April 27 at 6-8pm. Masks required at this event. The event features live DJ music and opening remarks by the artist.

– Refreshments will be served at our outdoor patio

ASL Interpretation
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is available upon request. 72-hour notice required.

Access Features
The gallery and outdoor patio are wheelchair accessible. Exhibition materials are available in large print and Braille. Audio descriptions of each artwork will be available via QR codes on the wall labels.

Exhibition on view April 27 – June 23, 2023. Gallery open 10am- 5pm Tues- Fri, or by appointment.
