Earl Gage Jr Mural dedication during Black History Month 2022 at this Fillmore Community Celebration at Rosa Parks Elementary School Fillmore District of SF Friday, February 25,2022 12-6pm

Earl Gage Jr. was hired in 1955 as the first black firefighter in San Francisco. He served as the only Black firefighter for 12 years. During his 28-year career, Gage promoted efforts to increase racial diversity.
