SF’s Chinatown “Good Fortune Weekend” + New Zodiac Wall 2023 (Jan 7-8)
Chinese New Year is all about welcoming good fortune.
Join us in welcoming good fortune for the new year in Chinatown’s Jack Kerouac Alley as we change the theme of the zodiac wall to welcome the year of the rabbit.
This upcoming year’s theme is “富” meaning wealth.
Jan 7th-
12pm-2pm – take down the old wall
2pm-8pm- stop by any time between 2-8pm, buy a red envelope from Asiafantasy, write your wish inside the red envelope, and paste it on the wall for your wish to come true
Jan 8th-
12pm- Opening ceremony of the new wall
1pm-2pm- Calligraphy demonstration
2pm-4pm- Fortune teller and I-Ching reading with tea time at China Live
